Scott MacNeill, Barbara Ceglia, Lambertville Some of us are actually pleased with the roadwork the City of Lambertville has recently completed on our streets. The dollar costs of these improvements have mostly come from the Bridge Commission, in compensation for allowing our residential streets to be used as detours during those times the local Delaware bridges were closed for renovation. Community members, alongside the mayor and the City Council, have also donated their time and resources in this effort to improve the quality of life of our city, by making the roads safer for all the users of our streets, not just the drivers. These improvements have included new sidewalks, contrasting crosswalks, bump-outs, improved drainage and speed bumps.
