The Burlington County Council of the Boy Scouts of America announced today it has postponed the county Centennial Scout Rally originally slated for Saturday, Feb. 6, in the Crosswicks section of Chesterfield. The announcement came amid forecasts of heavy snowfall in the area for the first half of the weekend.

The Northern Burlington boys basketball team outscored West Deptford in every quarter and came away with a 43-30 win on Saturday.
Both of the Bordentown High School bowling teams concluded stellar regular seasons this past week and will now see what they can do in the post-season.
The Florence High School boys basketball team had its best week of the season, winning all three games it played. The three wins pushed the Florence record to 8-6 and guarantees the Flashes a spot in the Central Jersey Group I playoffs.

The Florence High School girls basketball team won all three games it played this past week and is now 11-1 on the season.
The Bordentown High School wrestling team had one of the most memorable weeks in the history of the program. Not only did Bordentown win four of its five matches, it also had the pleasure of renaming its wrestling room in honor of former coach Larry Kipp on Friday.
