A 6-session course exploring the many aspects of yoga
Facilitator: Rev. Wendy Young Most people think of yoga as physical postures, but it is far more. Hatha Yoga practices are only the beginning. Raja Yoga, the royal path of yoga, integrates ethics and meditation as well as physical practices. It offers techniques for self-mastery in every aspect of life, from calming turbulent emotions to awakening deep compassion and love for others. Join Wendy Young for an in-depth study of The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, an ancient yogic text which explains how to live a yogic lifestyle. Each class will begin with a lecture, followed by a group discussion on how to incorporate these practices into your life. Our text will be Inside the Yoga Sutras, by Rev. Jaganath Carrera. If you want a deeper understanding of the fullness of yoga and want its benefits to become an everyday experience, then this course is for you. (609) 924-4800 Increasing Social Opportunities
