For over 20 years, the Divorce Recovery Program has offered hope to those facing the trauma of separation and divorce. This program emphasizes personal growth. Monthly seminars, held on the second Friday of each month, address a variety of topics as they relate to those facing separation and divorce. Support groups are led by trained facilitators in an open discussion; they meet on the first and fourth Fridays of each month.

Visitors to Duke Farms are welcome to take a “Walk on the Wild Side,” a 1.25-mile self-guided nature walk. The trail is open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Guests are asked to check in when they arrive, but the walk is free and no advance registration is required. Duke Farms is located at 80 Route 206 South in Hillsborough, enter via Dukes Parkway East.

A one-hour guided bus trip around the 700-acre historic core of the property that features numerous lakes and waterfalls, scenic vistas, champion trees and historic buildings. Bus tours are offered on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 11 a.m., 12:30 and 2 p.m. through November 15. The cost is $10 and advance registration is required at www.dukefarms.org or (908) 722-3700. Come sing-a-long to your child's favorite songs and learn some new ones too. Meet our puppet friends that help make sing-a-long a blast. Price included with admission or FREE for members.

Admission is $10 for walkers, $4 for crawlers. Everyone must wear socks, adults and children.

The Manville Education Foundation will hold it's Annual fReach for the Stars Basket Auction on Friday, November 13, 2009 at the Manville VFW, Washington Avenue, Manville. Doors open at 6 pm. Auction begins at 7:30 PM. Door prizes, refreshments, grand prizes. Tickets are $15.00 (which includes a free sheet of auction tickets) and will be available at all Manville Schools Back to School nights as well as calling 908-526-5568.
