  • Dritan Asani, 25, of Belle Mead, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for $1,000 from Paterson and on an outstanding warrant for $500 from Wall Township at 9:54 a.m. Jan. 4. Police, who responded to his request for help after he locked himself out of his car on Ludlow Avenue, discovered the outstanding warrants and made the arrest. 
  • Nicholas Bregenzer, 26, of Satellite Beach, Florida, was charged with driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit breath samples, failure to keep right, failure to maintain lane and failure to exhibit insurance after he allegedly lost control of his car and struck a utility pole on Route 518 at 5:15 a.m. Jan. 1. 
  • Sylvia Carson, 71, of Princeton was issued a summons for improper emerging from a driveway at 2:27 p.m. Dec. 24. She was attempting to pull out of the First Constitution Bank driveway on Route 518 when her car was struck by a car driven by Amit Elhanan, 32, of The Bronx, New York. There were no injuries. 
  • Kurien Jacob, 48, of Franklin Park, was issued a summons for careless driving after his car struck the rear of another car, driven by Raju Ramachandra, 51, of Princeton, that was stopped in traffic on Route 518 at 5:01 p.m. Dec. 23. After the collision, Mr. Jacob reportedly put his car into reverse and struck the front end of a pickup truck driven by James Griffin, 36, of East Windsor Township. There were no injuries. 
