Agatha Christie’s mystery “The Unexpected Guest“ will be presented by the Somerset Valley Players on weekends starting tonight, Jan. 15, through Jan. 31 at their theater at 689 Amwell Road.
The show, directed by Michael A. Muller and produced by Heather Giarrusso and Linda Konopka, will be presented Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m.
Admission is $20, with seniors and students at $18.
Agatha Christie weaves a devious tale of suspense when a stranger unexpectedly arrives at a Welsh country house to discover a beautiful young woman pointing a gun at a dead man — but the question of who killed him may not be as obvious as it seems. An array of quirky household residents deepens the mystery with cryptic comments and allegations from the past.
