New Jersey Blood Services will hold the following local blood drives. Type “O” blood is in high demand:

– 2-8 p.m. Jan. 22 at the East Brunswick Rescue Squad, 346 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick.

– 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Jan. 24 at Nativity of Our Lord Church, 185 Applegarth Road, Monroe.

– 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Jan. 24 at St. James Church, 36 Lincoln Ave., Jamesburg.

– 2-8 p.m. Jan. 26 at the Sayreville Emergency Squad, 776 Washington Road, Sayreville.

– 8:45 a.m.-1:15 p.m. Jan. 31 at St. Mary’s Church, 310 Augusta St., South Amboy.
