Police receive reports of ATM skimmers at Monroe Wawas

MONROE – The police department is notifying the public to be aware of ATM, debit and credit card skimmers being utilized on local ATM machines.

Police have recently received numerous reports of this illegal practice at the ATM machines in the Wawa stores located on Applegarth Road and Route 33, according to a statement prepared by the department.

The public is urged to be observant of possible illegal skimmer devices and small cameras located on any ATM machines they use, and to contact law enforcement if these items are found.
