The Barron Arts Center, 582 Rahway Ave., Woodbridge, is offering a class in “Art and Art History for Kids” for children ages 8-12. Classes will be Sundays, starting Jan. 24, 1-2:30 p.m. for eight weeks.
“Art and Art History for Kids” will introduce children to famous artists, works of art, and specific historical artistic periods. Each week the children will complete a project based on a artist, style or time. Children will also get an idea as to the social environment of the artist with a look at music and historical events of the time.
Instructor is Brandon Powell.
Cost is $125 per child plus $25 for supplies.
