James Henry Haddad, 92, James Henry Haddad, 92, of West Windsor, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, January 20, 2016. He was born on January 30, 1923 in Windham, Connecticut. He met his wife Isabel Haddad (Serrano) on the beach in Spring Lake, NJ. They lived in West Windsor, NJ for most of their lives with their two sons. James was a Chemical Engineer and worked for Mobil Oil Corporation in Pennington, NJ before retiring. While at Mobil, Mr. Haddad received over 50 patents for his inventions. James attended Yale University on an academic scholarship and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree at the age of 19. He was also a founding member of St. David the King Church in West Windsor, NJ. Mr. Haddad is survived by his wife, Isabel Haddad; his sister, Jenny Gora; his sons, Francis and Fred Haddad; his daughters-in-law, Jessie and Christine Haddad and 5 grandchildren. James was especially fond of spending time with his grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 22, 2016, at 9:30 a.m. at St. David the King RC Church, 1 New Village Road, Princeton Junction, NJ 08550. Interment will follow at New Willimantic Cemetery in Willimantic, CT. Family and friends may call on Thursday, January 21, 2016, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the A.S. Cole Funeral Home, 22 North Main Street, Cranbury, NJ.
