Young Spotswood musicians join mixed chorus

SPOTSWOOD – Two chorus students from Memorial Middle School successfully auditioned into the Central Jersey Music Educators Association Intermediate Mixed Chorus.

Sheliza Dolette and Emilia Savarese prepared given audition material to sing in front of a panel of judges. Sheliza, an eighth grader, and Emilia, a seventh grader, were both placed into the alto section of the chorus.

The students prepared with the help of their music teacher, Christine Restine.

After attending a series of weekend rehearsals, the girls will perform in a concert on March 13.
