LAWRENCE: Four Rider University students charged with marijuana possession

LAWRENCE — Four Rider University students, including a Princeton resident, were charged with possession of marijuana after it was found in a student’s room at Kroner Dorm shortly at 1:37 a.m. Jan. 25, according to the township Police Department.
Shiv Bogana, 20, of Princeton and in whose room the marijuana was found, was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after he was found to have a black smoking pipe that had marijuana residue, police said.
Anthony Tsikitikos, 18, of Bergenfield, was also charge with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after police found a black scale, commonly used to weigh marijuana, in his backpack.
Christian A. Papageorgiou, 19, of Jersey City, and Trevor O. Ryan, 18, of Phillipsburg, were charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana. All four were found in Mr. Bogana’s dorm room at Kroner Dorm, police said.
The Kroner Dorm resident director contacted Rider University security shortly after midnight Jan. 25 because she detected an odor of marijuana coming from the dormitory room, police said. Rider University security, in turn, contacted the Lawrence Township Police Department. 
