Seminar topics are:  “Learn the Structural Differences between Personal and Business Financial Planning” Feb. 9; “Develop the Systems, Habits and Behaviors to Generate Working Cash Flow” Feb. 16;  “Integrate Business Finances with Home Finances and Achieve Your Lifetime Goals” Feb. 23.
The seminars are admission-free to members of any of the three Chambers; non-Chamber members are requested to make a $15 donation to Friends of the Metuchen Library. Participants can attend any or all of the seminars and must RSVP to 732-548-2964 or email metuchenchamber@optimum.net.

Seminar leaders are Robert J. Goellner and Max Mintz from Metuchen’s Common Interests, a full-service, comprehensive financial planning firm specializing in Socially Responsible Investing.

“This is the sort of practical knowledge that gives new businesses a solid financial footing right at the outset,” says Lawrence McCullough, executive director of the Metuchen Area Chamber of Commerce. “We sought out Edison Chamber of Commerce and Woodbridge Metro Chamber of Commerce as co-sponsors because we wanted to spread word to as many area businesses as possible.”

Founded in 1950, the Metuchen Area Chamber of Commerce holds a wide range of annual cultural and community events including the Metuchen Country Fair, Junebug ArtFest, Summer Cruise Nights, Spring Street Fair, Metuchen Farmers Market, Holiday Tree Lighting and Memorial Day, Halloween and Winter Festival parades.

The Chamber also organizes member networking, showcase and educational activities that highlight new ideas and services in the ever-evolving Central Jersey marketplace.
