Holland Kelton

Holland Kelton, 87, formerly of New Brunswick, died Jan. 24 at The Elms of Cranbury, Cranbury.

A retired New Brunswick police detective lieutenant, Holland was a former trustee at Ebenezer Baptist Church; past president of the Rotary Club, Hightstown/South Brunswick; former supervisor of Juvenile Aid Bureau; member of Concerned Black Parents of South Brunswick; South Brunswick AARP; the Diplomats; and PBA Local No. 23.

Predeceased by his five siblings, Elizabeth Milan, Shirley Jones, Evelyn Hatley, Richard Kelton and Kenneth Kelton, Holland’s memory will be cherished by his wife, Elizabeth; his four children, Todd, Wayne, Karen and Jerome; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; his three sisters, Dorothy, Eloise and Carolyn; his one brother, Arthur; and many other beloved relatives and friends.

Funeral arrangements were made by Anderson Funeral Service, New Brunswick. Visit www.andersonfuneralservice.net.

Services were held at Ebenezer Baptist Church, New Brunswick. Interment followed at Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick.
