Yes, we all love looking at stately trees, but have you ever considered them seriously as fellow-life-forms on the planet, in your neighborhood or maybe even in your back or front yard? In his children’s book “The Giving Tree,” Shel Silverstein personified a tree as a selfless, loving being, gladly giving it’s very life for the benefit of a beloved human. Well, there is probably no evidence that trees feel the same kind of emotions as humans. Nevertheless, many benefits are derived from trees; some aesthetic, some physical, some environmental, some financial.
