Comedy show to aid breast-cancer research

Veteran New Jersey comedians Kevin Israel, Jerrold Benford, Stephen Buda, Mike Sicoli and Matt Bridgestone will host a fundraising comedy show beginning at 8 p.m. Feb. 19 at Bridgestone’s Comedy Club, 540 Catherine St., South Amboy. All proceeds will go to fund breast-cancer research.

Israel has been heard on Sirius/XM radio and stars in the Web series, “B.R.O.’s.” Benford has headlined at Catch a Rising Star and played at Caroline’s Comedy Club, New York City. Buda has been seen on “America’s Got Talent” and has headlined in Atlantic City. Bridgestone appears regularly at the New York Comedy Club, New York City, and has headlined at the Trump Taj Mahal, Atlantic City. Sicoli has opened for Pete Davidson of “Saturday Night Live” and Bobby Collins.
