Immigration to be focus at GOP event

The next meeting of the Middlesex County Republican Women’s Club is scheduled for 7-9 p.m. Feb. 16 at the East Brunswick Public Library, 2 Jean Walling Civic Center.

Michael Cutler, former special agent with the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) and a Fox News contributor, will present a talk on immigration and national security. Refreshments will be served.

There will be a discussion of the club’s annual Reagan Day fundraiser set for 2-5 p.m. Feb. 28 at the Cranbury Inn, 21 South Main St., with guests Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno and Reagan speechwriter Jeff Bell. There also will be an update on the upcoming Republican National Convention.
