Princeton Dog Training Club has donated three respirator masks to Hopewell Township’s Union Fire Company and Rescue Squad, Station 53 & Squad 153, located in Titusville/Washington’s Crossing, on the Delaware River.
The respirators will be used to administer oxygen should a dog or cat suffer from smoke inhalation.
“We are delighted to be able to donate three ‘mouth to snout’ respirator kits that will fit small, medium and large animals,” said club board member Michele Carberry, of Hopewell.
The presentation was attended by Union Fire Company’s Fire Chief Bryan Malkiewicz and Deputy Chief of EMS Anne Marie Soganic.
According to PDTC President Debra Fronheiser, the club’s membership voted to donate the respirators as part of its annual charitable donation disbursement. PDTC member Lynne Tatarowicz facilitated the purchase of the respirator masks and also attended the presentation.
