Metuchen senior citizens, ages 65 and over, are eligible for a “Fines Free” senior status library card at the Metuchen Public Library, 480 Middlesex Ave., Metuchen.
Senior library cardholders are exempt from overdue fines on materials that are checked out at the Metuchen Public Library. Metuchen residents must bring a proof of identity and a proof of residency to be issued a Metuchen Senior Library Card at no charge.
Current library cardholders who are senior citizens age 65 and over can update the senior status at the library with a library card and a proof of identity. For questions about the Senior Card and other library services, please contact the library at 732-632-8526.
