Share post:

The Middlesex County Republican Organization (MCRO) invites all county residents who are interested in becoming Republican candidates in the upcoming primary election on June 7 to schedule an appearance at the candidate screening committee meeting on March 9 and the subsequent county convention on March 19.

Candidates are sought for U.S. Congress in the 6th and 12th districts, county sheriff, county freeholder and local municipal offices. The presidential race will top the ballot, and the Congressional race will follow. At the county level, candidates will be screened and endorsed for sheriff and for three freeholder seats. Individuals interested in running for municipal office (council or mayor), will not be screened by the MCRO, but will be referred to their municipal committee for consideration.
