The East Brunswick High School boys bowling team captured the Greater Middlesex Conference team tournament title Feb. 8 with a 2-0 victory over Sayreville War Memorial High School. The top-seeded Bears won the first match by outpointing the Bombers, 1,083-1,069, and followed with a 1,175-1,043 victory in the second match.

The East Brunswick girls team rolled to the finals but fell victim to Woodbridge High School, 2-0, to finish runner up in the tournament.

Erin Seppi, Monroe Township High School’s multi-talented athlete, signed a letter of intent to play soccer at Boston College following graduation. The senior goaltender had committed to the University of Maryland but due to a coaching change, she switched to the Eagles.

Justin Armorer, who played soccer for the Falcons, also signed a Letter of Intent and will attend Northeastern University.
