The Long Branch Free Public Library will host a free workshop on time banking from 4-6 p.m. Feb. 17 at 328 Broadway. The program is open to the public, and families are welcome. Light refreshments will be served.

Monmouth Cares and the ResourceNet time bank will present, “Life Works Better with Informal Supports and Community Connections.” Learn how time banking allows people to swap their time and skills instead of money. One hour of helping another can earn one time-bank hour, which is also called a time or service credit or time dollar.
