Photo exhibit opening Feb. 24 in Edison

The Edison Arts Society announces the opening of a single artist exhibit, Rick Backman, at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 24 in the EAS Gallery, located on the third floor of the Edison Municipal Building, 100 Municipal Blvd. (off Route 27), Edison. Backman’s photographs will be on display until March 24. The exhibit is free of charge to the public.

Backman, who has traveled to 84 countries of the world, captures images of exotic flowers, animals, and birds, as well as scenic views from his visits to Europe, Central America, South America, Asia, Africa and the South Pacific. As an assistant scuba diving instructor, he has also explored the seas from Florida to Tahiti in search of the beauty beneath the oceans.
