Laser-tag event to support LLS

Team Cindy’s Stars, a walk team formed in 2009 in memory of Lucinda Dingman, will host a Laser Tag for a Cure event to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) 8-9 p.m. Feb. 21 at the Branchburg Sports Complex, 47 Readington Road.

Admission at the door is $20; $4 of the cost will benefit LLS. The public is invited to attend.

Lucinda Dingman was a lifelong South Amboy/Sayreville resident who succumbed to leukemia in 2009. Since its inception, Team Cindy’s Stars has participated in the LLS Light the Night Walk each year and has raised a total of more than $20,000. This year’s walk will take place Oct. 15 in Long Branch.

LLS is dedicated to finding cures for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma and to improving the quality of life of patients and their families.
