Metuchen Public Library, 480 Middlesex Ave., will serve as the host to the Chinese New Year Celebration for the Year of the Monkey, from 1 p.m.-4 p.m. on Feb. 21.
Celebrate with free, fun activities and performances for the whole family. A Lion Dance will kick off the Chinese New Year Celebration followed by traditional Chinese musical performances, dances, songs, drumming, Chinese yo-yo and more. Chinese calligraphy, Chinese painting, Origami, and other hands-on activities will be presented as well.
The Chinese New Year Celebration programs are collaboratively presented by the Edison Chinese School, GYH Entertainment Club of New Jersey and Metuchen Public Library.
