The Center for the Arts at Monmouth University has announced that the Grammy winning flutist, bandleader and tin whistle virtuoso, Joanie Madden, with her Irish-American supergroup, Cherish the Ladies, will perform at 8 p.m. Feb. 27 at Pollak Theatre, Monmouth University, 400 Cedar Ave., West Long Branch.

Tickets are priced at $40 and $50, and can be reserved through the Monmouth University Performing Arts Box Office at 732-263-6889, or online at www.monmouth.edu/arts. Tickets for other upcoming Performing Arts events — including an April 22 event that teams Celtic musicians Martin Hayes and Dennis Cahill with Switchback, for an engaging summit of traditional Irish and Americana styles — are also on sale now.
