The Middlesex County Office of Parks and Recreation is seeking teams for the annual Board of Chosen Freeholders’ Youth Basketball Tournament, which starts in early March. Games are played Mondays through Thursdays at 6:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. and will be held at the Piscataway Campus of the Middlesex County Vocational-Technical Schools, 21 Sutton Lane. Teams must have a minimum of five, but no more than 20, participants.
Registration, a $75 per-team entry fee and rosters are due by Feb. 26. Space is limited. Registration is accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
12U Travel Baseball Team within the Old Bridge area is currently looking for players. Players must be 12 or 11 years of age as of April 30, 2016. To maximize playing time, the team roster will be limited to 12 committed players. This team intends to participate in winter training, playing during the spring, summer and fall seasons.
