Don’t tamper with Social Security programs

John Pinelli, Princeton
The presidential race is heating up. As a senior I am interested in the protection of Social Security and Medicare programs.
People in general and more likely seniors should be particularly interested in the candidates who are supporters of these programs.
The gray vote and the people over 50 can make a big difference in the election.
Social Security and Medicare have been around a long time and these programs have worked well for the people of retirement age and have assured them of a definite income and also the protection of Medicare for their health insurance for life.
Right now these programs are solvent will and stay that way for a long time if not tampered with..
There should be a law about tampering with the Social Security programs.
