  • Someone may have entered a Johnson Avenue residence, but nothing was reported missing other than a house key that had been left on the kitchen table. A resident of the house called police at 10:02 p.m. Feb. 13 to report that she heard someone moving around on the first floor of the house, but police could not find any signs of forced entry. 
  • Darrell Harrison, 37, of Trenton, was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana after he was stopped for a maintenance of lamps violation on Brunswick Pike at 12:15 a.m. Feb. 13. He was also found to have outstanding warrants totaling $461 from the Trenton and South Plainfield municipal courts. 
  • A 2001 Ford pickup truck suffered damage to its engine compartment while it was parked outside of its owner’s residence on Eric Court at 6:45 p.m. Feb. 12. The truck, which had a diesel engine, was plugged into the garage with an extension cord. The extension cord was missing the ground prong and it appeared that the outlet that it was plugged into had tripped the breaker to the garage. 
  • An employee at Amalfi’s restaurant on the Pennington-Lawrenceville Road suffered burns to three fingers at 2:52 p.m. Feb. 11. A grease tray caught fire and had been extinguished, and he was injured when hot grease from the tray splashed onto his hands while he was transferring it to a cart. 
  • An undisclosed amount of cash was taken from the Fusion House restaurant at the Lawrence Shopping Center during a burglary that occurred at 1:24 a.m. Feb. 10. The burglar smashed a glass door in front of the restaurant to get inside. 
