Congresswoman Bonnie Watson-Coleman dropped by the Ethel McKnight School recently because the students in Danielle Cherepanya and Ellen Ogintz’s classes participated in the congresswoman’s “Valentines for Veterans” program. Students made cards and poems and gave them to the congresswoman so that she may share them with veterans. The students also sang “Happy Birthday” to Ms. Watson-Coleman and gave her an official McKnight Mustang. From left to right are: Superintendent Rich Katz, Principal Sylvia Zircher, East Windsor Mayor Janice Mironov, Educational Assistant Rita Enea, Hightstown Councilman Connor Montferret, teacher Ellen Ogintz, teacher Danielle Cherapnaya and students Juwon Kim, Sara Dilling, Valeria Perez, Daniel Mahany and Layla Ringelheim.
