‘Life of a Confederate Soldier’ set for March 8

The Township of Ocean, Board of Education Offices, Old Oakhurst School Auditorium, 163 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst, announces Arthur Green will present “Life of a Confederate Soldier,” at 7:15 pm. on March 8.

A military historian, whose own family history in Monmouth County dates to 1680 and is populated with ancestors who served in the Revolutionary and Civil Wars, will include items from his collection to illustrate the life of a Civil War soldier. Refreshments will be served. Admission is free. Donations are always welcome.
