The Metuchen Library, 480 Middlesex Ave., Metuchen, announces a new Art and Games Social will start in March. The event will be held twice a month for adults interested in art activities and games. The first social will be held from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on March 9, and will include a greeting card workshop led by Barbara Smith, an experienced crafter and card maker.
Upcoming Art and Games Socials will be held on March 23, April 13 and April 27, and will run from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Art activities will include stone coloring and tissue paper flowers. In addition, games will be available including checkers, chess, Chinese checkers and Scrabble. Feel free to bring your favorite games in to the library, as well as any art projects to share.
