HILLSBOROUGH: Equestrian Bergen sisters receive awards

Elizabeth Bergen, a senior at Hillsborough High School, received the high point champion award on Saturday at the Interscholastic Equestrian Association Zone 2 banquet held in Valley Forge, Pa. To receive the recognition, a rider needs to place first or second in the classes in which they are competing.
Her sister, Michele Bergen, a senior at Hillsborough High School, received second high point, reserve champion award at the IEA banquet as well. Both sisters are members of the IEA team at Delaware Valley University, Doylestown, Pa. They will be competing this Saturday, March 6, at the IEA Regionals in Valley Forge. 
