The Route 516 Animal Hospital, 2117 Route 516, Old Bridge, will conduct its Easter Food Drive through March 22 to benefit the Old Bridge Food Bank. Donations may be dropped off at the hospital during regular business hours, 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Mondays-Fridays, 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturdays.
The most needed and requested food items include cereal, creamed corn, sauerkraut, canned beans, corned beef, canned chili, tea bags, hot chocolate, canned fruit, rice and pasta side dishes, mustard, mayonnaise, ketchup and relish. Also sought are health and beauty-aid items such as toilet paper, toothpaste, bath soap, feminine products, shampoos and deodorant. Donations will benefit more than 175 Old Bridge families, adults and children in need.
