One-man exhibit at Metuchen Library Gallery

The Metuchen Library Gallery, 480 Middlesex Ave., Metuchen, will hold a two-month solo exhibit by local artist Michael Greenhouse. The opening reception of the show is from 2 p.m.-5 p.m. on March 6, and will be on display throughout March and April.

A life-long educator, Michael taught Sociology at Middlesex County College from 1971 until his retirement in June 2015. He began painting 12 years ago, engaging in an art form which he has long loved. In October of 2011, Michael had his first show, “Untamed Perspectives,” at Countryside Roadhouse Studio in Newtown, Pennsylvania.  In addition, three of his paintings have been featured on the covers of the 2012, 2013,
