The Eastern Color Guard Championship will come to Monmouth University March 19-20. Winter Guard International (WGI) centers on providing a venue for young people to pursue excellence in both performance and competition through nationwide color guard, indoor percussion and winds regional competitive events. The Eastern Color Guard Championship event brings together premier color guard teams in the region to compete for top honors.

The Old Bridge Girls Soccer League Opening Day will be held April 2.
On that day, it is World Autism Awareness Day “Light it up Blue Day,” and the league will celebrate at its field with its Just 4 Kixs Program (soccer for special needs children). There are close to 100 children in this program and over 100 teenage buddies to assist them.
