Tax prep, activities slated at senior center

A variety of upcoming programs will be offered at the Old Bridge Senior Center, Route 516 and Cottrell Road.

AARP tax aides will provide free, individual tax preparation for low- to moderate-income taxpayers, especially those ages 50 and older, on Monday and Thursday mornings, by appointment only. For more information or to make an appointment, call 732-721-5600, ext. 6615.

An ice cream social is set for noon March 4 at the center. Cost is $1.

An aerobic dance class is offered at 1 p.m. every Wednesday.

Charles Clarkson of the Senior Medicare Patrol will educate Medicare/Medicaid beneficiaries regarding the prevention of fraud in a program planned for 10:30 a.m. March 15.

A St. Patrick’s Day Party is scheduled for 11 a.m.-2 p.m. March 17. The event will feature music by DJ Randi Rae, a Wearing of the Green Contest and dancing. A corned beef lunch is available for individuals who order in advance by calling 732-607-1582.
