The budget represents an increase from last year’s $21.9 million budget that included a $14.4 million tax levy.

The township also anticipates $700,000 in municipal court fees, $2 million in energy tax receipts and $550,000 in uniform construction code fees.

The budget also includes allocations of $195,000 for legal costs, $1.7 million for group insurance for employees and $5 million for police salaries.

A public hearing is scheduled for April 5.
