The Friends of the South River Library will sponsor its Book and Bake Sale during regular library hours March 31, April 1 and 2 in the Sivess Room at the library, 55 Appleby Ave.
Adult hardcover books will sell for 50 cents each; adult paperbacks and all children’s and young adult books, 25 cents; audio books, CDs and DVDs, $1. Shoppers also may pay a flat $10 fee for a canvas Friends tote and as many items as it will hold; individuals may use the Friends tote they already have. All baked goods, packaged chips and water will be sold at a cost of $1 per item.
