Michael & The Rockness Monsters will present an album release party of original kids music from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. March 19 at Old Franklin Schoolhouse, 491 Middlesex Ave., Metuchen.
The cost is $10; children under 1 free; all families receive a full-length Michael & The Rockness Monsters CD. Tickets are available at www.brownpapertickets.com/event/2494538 or at the door.
The concert highlights the first album produced by Preschool of Rock, a children’s music school headquartered in Metuchen, with teaching locations across New Jersey and New York. Preschool of Rock founder/director Michael Napolitano is a lifelong musician and 10-year veteran performer with the Blue Man Group. The son of a professional drummer, Michael himself started musical training at 18 months.
