South Brunswick residents encouraged to ‘Give Until You Are Full’

SOUTH BRUNSWICK – South Brunswick Social Services has announced a new spring campaign, “Give Until You Are Full.”

The South Brunswick Food Pantry will be accepting donations of food or funds through April 30. The pantry provides food and gift cards to families throughout the year, as well as emergency assistance to township residents who need help with utility bills and rental assistance. The food pantry and Social Services Department are funded solely by donations.

Last year, through the Feinstein Challenge, the township raised $112,475.43 in food and monetary donations through donations from individuals, businesses, local community groups, clergy and schools. Close to 300 families in town were supported by the community’s efforts.

Send donations to LouAnne Wolf, director of Social Services, South Brunswick Social Services, P.O. Box 190, Monmouth Junction 08852. Make checks payable to the South Brunswick Human Intervention Trust Fund.

For more information, call Wolf at 732-329-4000, ext. 7674 or Jeanne Weret at ext. 7672.
