Mark J. Schmidt, broker associate with Gloria Zastko Realtors, is kicking off the official start of “Mark Madness,” a social media event taking place all during the month of March. Mark Madness is designed to educate, entertain, and inspire people to reach their home ownership goals.
Found on his professional Facebook page, www.Facebook.com/MoveMeMark, Mark Madness began March 1 with a video proclaiming the opening of the month-long event, and a great tip about the importance of not just getting prequalified for a mortgage to buy a home, but how important it is to do it early.
Schmidt had been planning Mark Madness for a while. “I wanted to do something different and fun for everyone out there. People are always watching real estate shows on HGTV, and while they are very entertaining, they don’t always paint an accurate picture of what goes on during the home buying and selling process. Mark Madness is a fun way to help people understand more about the do’s and don’ts of real estate, and give them an edge in the process.”
One of the ways Schmidt is helping home sellers get an edge when selling their home is with his ebook, “7 First Impressions,” a guide on how to get your home ready to wow buyers, available on his Facebook page and on his website, www.MoveMeMark.com. He also has a slew of insider tips he will be unveiling throughout the month, with nuggets such as what not to do after you go under contract to buy a home, the one thing that you can’t see that can derail the sale of your home, and ways you can get the most money when selling.
