The centerpiece of the South Brunswick Library’s 2016 New Jersey Makers Day will be the library’s new 3-D printer, a MakerBot Replicator, that will be debuted on March 18 and 19 at the library, 110 Kingston Lane, Monmouth Junction.
The event will include demonstrations of how cutting edge technology can literally create a three-dimensional image out of liquid plastic right before your eyes.
In addition, children, adults and teens will be able to experience “Maker Culture” by learning to sew, making colorful pancakes, editing digital photos, doing 3D artwork, making pretzels and more. Events are planned for noon-5:30 p.m. March 18 and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. March 19.
