Easter Egg Hunt set for March 19 in Matawan

Matawan Borough’s annual Easter Egg Hunt for children age 1-9 will take place at 11 a.m. March 19 at the Matawan Municipal Community Center, 201 Broad St. The rain date is 11 a.m. March 20.

Children will have the opportunity to collect candy-filled Easter eggs and get a picture with the Easter Bunny. A contest for best-decorated Easter bonnet or hat will also be held. First-, second- and third-place prizes will be awarded.

Children need to bring their own basket. Parents can bring a camera to take pictures of their children with the Easter Bunny.
