LONG BRANCH — Rook Coffee is sponsoring its third annual Rook Run 5K fundraiser on Sept. 25 at The Great Lawn Amphitheater in Long Branch.
Event proceeds will benefit The Valerie Fund, a nonprofit organization that provides comprehensive health-care services for children with cancer and blood disorders. There are seven Valerie Fund Children’s Centers in the tri-state area, including one at The Unterberg Children’s Hospital at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch. This year’s fundraising goal is $250,000.

Early registration is $25 through April 15. After that date, registration will be $35. To register, visit www.rookrun.com.
