Program to feature Sephardic-foods prep

East Brunswick Hadassah will sponsor a program titled “Sephardic Passover Foods” 7:30 p.m. April 7 at an East Brunswick home.

Participants will learn how to make Sephardic Passover food including charoset, melachrini (walnut sponge cake) and almond cookies. Demonstrator will be Sarina Feldman, who was part of a small Greek community in Trikala, Greece, that strived to maintain Judaism in wake of the Holocaust.

A $10 donation will go to the Hadassah Medical Organization.
