On April 7 at 7 p.m., The Red Bank Regional (RBR) Visual & Performing Arts Academy (VPA) dance majors will present their Spring Dance Extravaganza at the RBR theater, 101 Ridge Road, Little Silver. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for senior citizens and children. All RBR students are free with student ID. Tickets can be purchased at the door. The show will feature 21 pieces performed by 32 dancers with two guest artists, Denyse Sheehan and Brittany Cohen, both dance educators from Monmouth County. Dance teacher Cara Scacco choreographed three of the pieces while all other dances are student-choreographed and feature the genres of modern, hip hop, lyrical and a special classical piece from the ballet of Don Quixote.
