Computer and job search classes at Edison libraries

The North Edison Branch Library, 777 Grove Ave., Edison, will offer the following classes from 2:30-4 p.m. March 31: Excel II (Intermediate) Group A. April 7: Excel II (Intermediate) Group B. The following classes are from 2:30-4 p.m. April 19: Excel III (Advanced) Group A. April 26: Excel III (Advanced) Group B. Students should understand basic Excel before taking these classes. May 3: Powerpoint I (Beginner).

The Main Library, 340 Plainfield Ave., Edison, will offer the following classes from 2:30-4 p.m. April 21: Job Searching will cover internet strategies and networking. April 28: Resume Writing will help to construct a professional resume or improve an existing resume. May 5: Acing the Job Interview will show how to impress employers.

The Clara Barton Branch, 141 Hoover Ave., Edison, will offer the following classes from 2:30-4 p.m. April 19: Computer Basics is for anyone just beginning to learn how to use a computer. April 26: Mouse Skills class will teach computer novices how to manipulate a mouse, an essential skill for all computer users. May 3: Word I (Beginner) is an introduction to Word 2010, a word processing program.
