Metuchen’s historic downtown comes alive with a full-throttle roar each first Wednesday of the month, May through September, as Metuchen Cruise Night brings a colorful panorama of classic and contemporary autos to Main Street.
Sponsors and exhibitors are sought for 2016 Metuchen Cruise Night dates of May 4, June 1, July 6, Aug. 3, Sept. 7, running from 6-8:30 p.m. each night.
Sponsored by Metuchen Area Chamber of Commerce, Metuchen Cruise Night offers the opportunity for a leisurely stroll down Main Street while viewing the art, muscle and uniqueness of antique, collectible and performance cars and motorcycles, including electric vehicles.

Founded in 1950, Metuchen Area Chamber of Commerce hosts a wide range of destination events to attract visitors and businesses to the Borough including the Metuchen Country Fair, Junebug ArtFest, Cruise Nights, Spring Street Fair, Metuchen Farmers Market, Holiday Tree Lighting and Memorial Day, Halloween and Winter Festival parades.
The Chamber also organizes member networking, showcase and educational activities that highlight new ideas and services in the ever-evolving Central Jersey marketplace.
