• PeaPod Purse and Wyatt Rehabilitation will host the third annual Lymphedema Awareness 5K Walk on April 2 at the Manalapan Recreation Center, 120 Route 522, Manalapan. Registration at 10 a.m. Walk starts at 11 a.m. The walk will raise funds to help people who have a financial hardship obtain costly compression garments. Cost: $25 per person, children under 12 free, no pets. Register at the event or online at www.elymphedema.org

• The Millstone Township Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary will host a spring rummage sale on April 16 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Millstone firehouse, 461 Stagecoach Road. Donations of gently used household items, linens, toys, clothing, books and sporting equipment will be accepted at the firehouse from April 12-14 between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Cribs and car seats cannot be accepted. • CentraState Healthcare System is offering the cooking class, “Adventures in Eating: Bee Happy and Healthy,” to children 6 and older on April 2 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. in Freehold Township. Junior chefs will be introduced to healthy eating through fun, hands-on activities and tasting samples as they prepare nutritious recipes that feature honey. The program cost is $12 per person and $10 for each additional sibling. To register, call 732-308-0570.

• Millstone Township will hold its 10th annual stream cleanup from 9 a.m. to noon April 16. Volunteers will meet at the parking lot behind the municipal court building, 215 Millstone Road (near Rocky Brook Park and the United Presbyterian Church). A free T-shirt and water will be provided. The Millstone Township Environmental Commission and the Stony Brook-Millstone Watershed Association will sponsor the cleanup. • The Monmouth County Spring Job Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 1 at the Brookdale Community College Collins Arena, Lincroft. The job fair will provide individuals with access to employers seeking candidates in every discipline, from hospitality and health care to finance, education, telecommunications, computer science and more. • Knights of Pythias, Grand Lodge Domain of New Jersey, invites men of all ages and from all communities to learn about the organization at a complimentary buffet breakfast and orientation to be held at 10 a.m. May 15 at the Monroe Township Senior Center, 12 Halsey Reed Road, Monroe Township.
